Times of Christmas Masses
Sunday 24th December, Christmas Vigil or Eve
Normal Sunday morning Masses
for the 4th Sunday of Advent
10:00pm for 10:30pm
Our tradition Christmas Midnight Mass.
Slightly earlier than usual to facilitate our older parishioners.
The mass will begin with a short service of carols and readings.
Sunday 25th December, Christmas Day
10am for 10:30am
Christmas Mass on Christmas Day
itself. This mass will have a particular family feel.
Children will be made especially welcome!
At all of our Christmas Masses,
Children are invited to come dressed as Shepherds and Angels.
All masses begin with the singing of Carols.
Sacrament of Reconciliation
As a preparation for receiving Holy Communion at Christmas, many people will
wish to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation (what we used to call
"Confession") to ensure that they are in a "state of
grace".
The Sacrament is available on Saturday from 10am in the 'confessional' in the Church, and at any time on reasonable request.
Before and after all masses on the weekend
of Sunday 17th December, there will be extra opportunities to receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation.
We are holding a Parish Reconciliation Service at
3:00pm on Sunday 17th December, with the opportunity for individual
confession.
